No one else willing to admit (maybe not watching) that the CWS has been entertaining and fun to watch.?!??
Of course we would all LOVE for our Tigers to be there. But man, I’m enjoying these tight games. Damn good baseball going on.
I’ll admit I’m football first, but I can’t help but admire what I’ve been seeing on the diamond this year and the last few overall.
Pulling for NC State to win it all, but that will be difficult now.
Anyways

Omaha is entertaining as hell every year whether we’re in it or not. It’s just more of a More Sports Board topic when we’re not there.

I’m watching and enjoying the hell out of it… outside of the UK C nearly 1 kneeing the game away.
ETA: and I know originally he wasn’t one knee in his upper squad, but he dropped to it with the pitch on the way and couldn’t move. Might as well have just started there.

As much as I hate us not being there, it’s kind of nice watching these games without wanting to kill myself on every pitch. We were there last year and it was awesome.

I can’t get over how stacked the SEC is. As if it’s not already unbelievable that nearly half of the league has won a national championship in the last 7 years, we’re adding UT (historical success) and OU (recent success; top 8 national seed this year & CWS runner up 2 yrs ago) to the conference as well.

The landscape has definitely shifted - no schools from Arizona, California, Oregon, Oklahoma, no TCU, Rice, Vandy, Miami. Might have a surprise winner this year!
