Well, probably the first Pixar movie I’ve actually looked forward to since The Incredibles 2 and hope it’s not as disappointing as that one.

I expect this movie and more so Deadpool 3 to be actually pretty good. Doesn’t change shite for Disney though unless they understand what ultimately allowed them to be so, if they are and it will be a lack of micromanaged DEI injections.

How come you haven't jumped into the acolyte thread?

Because I’m not watching it and it’s trash. I had the Cartman Kathleen Kennedy meme and mocking the idiots for having an open flame in space, but that’s it.
Save for spare clips on the internet, haven’t watched Star Wars since 2017 when I was slandered by the makers of TLJ, and I’ve kept by that promise.

We got to see a 15 minute extended cut at Disney World last week and this is very well done
My wife and I were laughing the whole time because we have a 14 and 12 year old and this is all about a kid going through puberty.
We can wait to see it.

How many gay characters? I’m sure there’s gotta be some wokeness. I won’t watch anymore Disney films

Of course it is.

This was set up in the first movie. You don’t need to get sexual about it at all.

But totally accept a giant space station the size of the moon being able to fire a laser beam that can blow up a planet. As well as two laser beams somehow turned into a solid so that it can mimic sword play.

No one knows the physics of that but four year olds know that flames require air. Sorry, false equivalency.

We know it's not possible... it's a fricking movie. Complaining about applied physics in a space opera with aliens is wild.

But that one is just obvious and will take people out of the fantasy scenario they’re in. Again, that would make kindergarteners do a double take and say “bullshite!”

They are trying to play the rule of cool card to defend it. . .
. . .but after episode 3, I am not sure Lesbian Headband or her writers are aware of how fire works, or dialogue, or pacing, or cohesion, or consistency. . ..

Well I saw it tonight, and it was good but not as good as the first one. Probably Pixar’s best since Coco, but not near to its level.
It’s honestly just not as creative as its predecessor nor as creative as Pixar is at its peak. In the mind really they only introduce like two new parts of the mind and that’s it, while the original was going a mile a minute on its creativity.
It was a good decision to make Anxiety the main antagonist of the film and it ends well, but no one is going to be shedding tears for this one like they did in the original.
Inside Out 3 though, time to bring in outright evil emotions, namely Pride. Pride was apparently cut from both Inside Out 1 and 2, but Pride is obviously the most villainous of the emotions that can’t really live harmoniously with the other good emotions. Make either Bryan Cranston or Jon Hamm voice Pride and him dressed as either a mob boss or Roman politician. Also bring in Lust and Greed as his henchmen and pervert Anger into becoming Wrath and Envy also becoming an outright henchman, and could be a solid third entry.

We’ll be going tomorrow. My niece wants to see it on opening day. So we will be having a girls day with my sister, my niece and me. Very much looking forward to the whole day.

We might need to start a legit thread for this movie because we’re on page one and we have already detoured to Star Wars and now Mudshark has started his shitty fanfic.

Then TLJ and Ghostbusters 2016 happened

It was decent. Didn’t blow me away.
I appreciated the inclusion of anxiety as a legitimate emotion. But overall, I was not blown away.
