I’ve finally almost convinced the wife on going to Vegas and the opener with our two year old daughter (no pics of either). Ever since 2003 I’ve been wanting to see us kick USCs butt with their fake “championship”.

Are there any family friendly hotels? What family friendly things are there to do in Vegas?

Entertainment outpaces gambling there. Just go on trip advisor and you will find a plethora of things to do

The hookers all start coming out the rooms and walking around at like 615. Fun to watch the walk of shame I guess.

Go to the hotel bars around 2am and you'll find the ones looking for a last trick before going home

I live here and it’s balls hot that time of year. I definitely would not bring the 2 year old much less your wife but if that’s what it took, so be it.

Nothing will be family friendly on strip. It will be a drink a thon all weekend all day and night.

Off strip there are parks everywhere but at 2yo would absolutely not recommend in the heat. Bring them to Area 51 and omega mart. That’s pretty cool and the wife would probably enjoy that the most. There are dinosaur museums and a springs preserve not too far off strip also.

Delano is connected to Mandalay Bay and all rooms are minimum two room suites. Gives you access to the Mandalay pools, easy access to mandalay shops, tram ride to excalibur to access the arcade. Mandalay even has an aquarium. Also, it's walkable to Allegiant Stadium.

Marvel Avengers Station isn't family friendly? Hershey's Chocolate or M&M world isn't? There is a long list of things they can do on the strip

Lots of stuff for teenagers and younger kids, but not much for a 2 year old. There are plenty of non-smoking and non-casino hotels on and near the strip. (Trump Hotel, VDara, Delano, Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental)

Get one with a nice resort pool and just hang out at the pool like you were in Mexico or something.

I took teenagers there years ago and we went to some shows, the Hoover Dam, etc., and it was a great trip.

If you want family friendly, look at Red Rock in Summerlin.

The Four Seasons is a nice hotel without a casino, but I don’t know what you are going to do with a 2 year old in Las Vegas.

Maybe pick a hotel attached to a nice mall such as Caesar’s Palace or the Venetian where you can find things to do other than gamble.
Plus, both of those places have nice pools.

Stay at Waldorf (no casino but next to Aria) or Park MGM if you want a casino - it’s nonsmoking. Connected to Eataly

Do not leave air conditined spaces. Plan on it being 110 when the sun goes down. Concrete 120, asphalt 140+. Been here 30+ years, trust me. It might not be, but plan on it. Outside of that, the aquarium suggestion is pretty solid.

Bringing my 2-year-old to Vegas for the weekend sounds like a bet payoff

Im not sure if it was intentional, but mentioning the 2 year old before the wife, as if if the 2 year old is the more reasonable one, made me laugh.

There are family friendly things to do I suppose but it’s really not geared to that. Last year we stayed a night in Vegas on our way to Hoover Dam/Grand Canyon. Thought my two kids, 8&9, would like to be able to say they went to Vegas. Nope, they hated it. We stayed at Caesars and it was crowded, smoky, and expensive. Kids couldn’t wait to leave.
