I was thinking about players from the past earlier and remembered how seemed to pop up in crucial moments when no one expected him. I know he fought injuries throughout his career. I was curious if he might still be taking a crack at the minors or if he hung it up?

He bounced around Indy leagues in 2022 but is no longer in pro baseball.

Saw him umpiring some youth games and he was also helping out with the Central Middle School baseball team last year

He was bartending at Zee Zee's a few months ago. Saw him there one night and haven't seen him since.

Dude had a wicked breaking ball. Too bad he didn’t develop another pitch.

I know that he was giving pitching lessons to some high school players in the Lafayette area a while back.

His freshman year, before the injury, he had a natural cut to his fastball that was effective.

I don't know if the injury prevented him from throwing it, or if someone just decided it wasn't a good idea, but that made him less of a pitcher, IMO.

He was still effective.

He was so good for LSU. Now he’s just a regular young adult living in Baton Rouge. I saw him in cages before he gave a pitching lesson and he visited with me for like 10 mins. He genuinely enjoys people.

Yep the coach from Central Private. I thought for sure they’d get Mike Forbes to come back, but he’s the new coach at Walker now.

he never really gained weight in the program either as I recall. tough to put it all together and perform at the pro level when you weight a buck 40
