The Tampa Police Department has gay badges for Pride Month

Not joking. This is real. The Tampa Police Department has gay rainbow badges for officers to wear during Pride Month.
The badge incorporates the rainbow flag, as well as the five-color chevron that represents people of color and the transgender community. Together these colors symbolize the continued progress for marginalized groups within the LGBTQ+ community and the forward movement for inclusion within society.
For the record, this is just one of nine badges the officers have to choose from. But this one is just, well, extra gay.

Well, their mayor was once the police chief and she is a gay.
With that said, I would consider Tampa a very safe city. New Orleans murders more people in two months than what it takes Tampa an entire year to accomplish.
