It will come down to who the home plate umpire is for tomorrow game

I’m hoping an SEC ump again. We can’t afford to walk these UNC players.
As long as it’s not an ACC ump, I’ll be happy.
Anyone knows who will be the ump?

I’m so sick of us as Tigers fans constantly bitching and bitching and continuing to bitch about the umpires. All we need as fans is for the boys to go win the damn game regardless of who the umpires are.

SEC umps have a reputation of a small strike zone. Why would you want that in this scenario?

What you are saying is true, but a badly inconsistent umpire at home plate makes the game much more difficult.
The guy on Friday was absolutely horrendous, but thankfully it didn’t matter.

I think the umpires calling balls and strikes have been very good in this regional. II f anything, I think they were generous to the pitchers with the corners, but not egregiously. There’s always a pitch here and there that looks like a bad call, but not many. And they’ve been consistent. My opinion.

Good Grief, and here we go. Looks like I was wrong. I thought the bitching would start after the first pitch but this crowd starts before the umps take the field. Kudos to you guys, you got game!

We got some great calls during the bunting thing. I havent had a problem with these home plate umps overall

Before you complain about umpiring, you should be compelled to actually umpire some games. And as a special treat, to be a 1 person umpiring crew. Let's see you call the pitches and when the ball is hit hustle out to make the call on the bases. And do it on a hot day and have to do a double header.
