Nola Italian food scene lost a big one. He was a character but always made sure his customers felt welcome. Spent many nights there with Vincent pulling up a chair talking to my wife and I until they were closing down. We hosted many events there at both uptown and Metairie locations. Vincent always made sure everything was taken care of.

Salut Vincent. We will miss you.

One of the best Lasagnas I've ever had was at the uptown location in NOLA. I also remember the location off Highland in BR.

Funny how people were split 50-50 on him. Many think he was a huge dickhead.

As far as I know, yes. I don’t believe he was sick or anything at the time. It had been a bit since the last time I saw him, but he seemed fine.

NVM - I know a few people close to him and they just confirmed he passed last night. Damn.

Damn that sucks. Never knew he had lung cancer. Saw him a few weeks back. He was the best during COVID. I said Vincent these tables are kind of close are you afraid they are going to come shut you down? He said “frick em”.

I knew Vincent through the restaurant for at least twenty years. I remember Vincent going into the Blockbuster across the street. He was always a character and a great chef. We will truly be missed. My parents were regulars and always loved your brother.

Oh man, I am so sorry for your loss. I love your restaurant and the conversations I had with him.

I hope y’all stay open so we can continue to enjoy your terrific food.
