Marco’s Pizza, which has more than 1,200 locations worldwide, is set to open its first location in Baton Rouge on Burbank Drive.
Jai Ambe Enterprises LLC of Ponchatoula bought a building at 9402 Burbank in a deal that closed last week. The seller was Chicky Sandos One LLC of Baton Rouge.

The property has been vacant since October, when Empire Wingz closed its Burbank location.
Looks like they are opening a spot at the old Fast Track/Empire Wingz on Bluebonnet near Gardere.
Seems like a terrible location to open your first store in town. I would be surprised if they make it there a full year.

To me, it's just Domino's Pizza in a different box. It's not bad, but I'm not going out of my way to order it.

I may be in the minority but I think it's worse than the other chains.
One of my best friends married into the family and the father apparently had an entire second family his first family didn't know about until like 5 years ago
At their wedding they had pizza there as the snack and it tasted again like cardboard

I'd much rather have a JET's than Marco's

odds of that place being held up, they better get some security

Had it for the first time recently and it was worst than Papa John's/Domino's/Pizza Hut by a mile.

Wish Jet's would open in Lafayette

I like it for chain pizza. Wouldn’t mind one opening near me for delivery.

Jet's is the best chain and it's not close

Frozen pizza at Dollar General is about the same quality,

I might be imagining things but I thought I saw a sign at the one in BR saying that its back or they are bringing it back.

Yep, you're correct. I just called the Highland location and they said they have it

What's on their buffet? Is it just AYCE pizza and breadsticks?

salad bar, pasta, dessert pizzas, etc.
And for those downvoting my comment about Jet's being the best pizza chain, please let me know what is better? The 8-corner with turbo crust is $$$

Marco’s is alright, but nothing special. Really similar to Dominos.

Of the big chains, Marco's is my favorite

People love shitting on Marco's but I find it on par with every other large corporate pizza chain. Regarding location- I don't know my way around Baton Rouge but around ATL, the Marco's are always in sketchy areas. I assume it's a real estate thing as part of their corporate business model.
