The addition of Texas and OU will force conversations about changing the tourney venue

frick that.
A) we shouldn't let these new assholes dictate where things happen.
B) Put the Big 12 tournament on. It's in Globe Life and it looks like shite.
Keep the tournament in Hoover. And add a year to the contract every time some prick from Texas complains about it.

I’m certain Texas will also bitch about the SECCG always being held in Atlanta.

Hoover is a staple of SEC baseball. To change it would be sacrilegious.

Should be played in Shreveport or sugar land.

My guess would be 2000 fans in a 35,000 seat stadium.

They should rotate the venue to different cities. Nashville, Atlanta, Houston, New Orleans, Hoover

I saw a Texas fan claim they were drawing 25-30K per session. If true, that’s a lot of revenue the SEC is passing up in a 10K facility.

That's part of it.
It's also too corporate and sterile. And it's inside. It's 9:30 in the morning and they're playing in a hollowed out Wal-Mart.
Rain delays suck, but outside baseball is much better.

It should absolutely not be moved from Hoover. Geographically, it makes sense for just about every school in the SEC.
Plus, they have continued to add things onto the stadium, as well as shopping, restaurants, etc. in the city of Hoover for fans to enjoy while they are there

They're not.
And when you change from most people being able to drive to most people having to fly, it won't help attendance.
ETA: If they were averaging that many people per session, they'd put the attendance in the box score. They don't put the attendance in the box score.

Biloxi doesn’t make sense either lol
I don’t know why people want to change things when it has worked perfectly for so many years

Biloxi would be nice. I just hope the ability to come and go as you please stays. It’s nice to get a hand stamp and go avoid ball park food.

How many people does it seat?
Read where Hoover has a lot of supporting infrastructure, e.g., practice fields, that other sites do not.
Beyond capacity, that may be a factor.

It would be nice to have a good baseball stadium in Louisiana that could host. It is a shame that the money keeps flowing to a state that has two of our biggest rivals.
