- JB going to Cleveland (and will let them know about BI)
- Gayle prob the worse owner in all of sports
- More than likely keeping BI
- League worse arena
You think its bad now. Watch as the whole NBA starts moving so far away from the Pelicans

Only want Allen off Cleveland and he shouldn’t be included in any deal for BI so it shouldn’t matter…

Im starting to get a bad feeling that Griff gives BI an extension and runs it back.

Gayle doesn't even crack the top 30 worst owners in sports. She spends any amount of money needed to field a competitive team and stays out of the operations guys way.

We're one of 2 teams that have never paid the luxury tax

Supposedly, Altman lives BI and has wanted him for 3 years.
So that bridge is likely not burned.

Until now, we had no reason to.

You think he would want to give his new coach one of his biggest headaches?

Altman is the top dawg there.
What that means is... if in interviews Borrego is an absolute no go on BI, he won't be hired if Altman wants to make a run at BI.
If Borrego is hired, that means he has told Altman he's good with bringing in BI
Point being, Altman calls the shots and if he's wanted BI for 3 years, a new head coach won't change that.

She’s owned the team since 2012. Pretty sure more than 2 teams haven’t paid the tax in the last 12 years.
8 teams are in the tax this year. 7/8 have been to a conference finals in the last 4 years and 4 of them have a ring in the last 4 years.

I mean this definitely falls in the realm of plausibility, I just tend to trend to a situation where the first step (assuming he's hired with negative opinions on BI) is to not bring in the player that made him search to other places to begin with.

I'd agree that I'd rather Borrego not get the job so there's no chance of anything weird happening. But I don't think it'll ultimately matter.

He's not searching for other assistant coaching jobs, he's been rumored for a couple different HC gigs.

This is horrible logic.
I guess, if you don't understand who is in charge in Cleveland and are starting from an incorrect standpoint, you can think that. You're wrong, but you are free to be wrong so that's fine.

1 can only hope. He's a good player, but not #1 and diesn't make Zion better
