So.. We are in.. Almost for sure.. What do we want NOW

Can we win this thing? After a rough season.. An SEC tourney Championship is not inconsequential. Do we want other big dogs to lose? Or do we want to BEAT THEM NOW?
Does this team have more to gain in confidence by winning.. as opposed to resting?

This is an Omaha offense and probably a top 5 offense in the country. The problem has been consistent pitching.

The SEC bracket is opening right up. USC beating Arkansas currently (we take on the winner)

Eff it. Let’s go all the way. I think it would teach the young’s guys a lot about navigating a tournament if we don’t make it to Omaha. Could help them next year.
Plus we’ve pitched our two best arms. Let’s find out who else wants to show up this postseason. I’d like to see Anderson start it with a somewhat loose leash and then let Hurd start the next one. Those two guys need to prove reliability going forward

I would like to see some of our other pitchers have solid outings and give them some confidence heading into next weekend.

getting hot, like we have been the last 5-6 weeks is one thing. continuing that, and winning this tournament will do nothing but give some guys some added opportunities in pressure filled situations....to get to that, and win it, would only help these guys going forward. i say lets roll.

This is the time to see what pitchers can step up and help us in the rest of the post season. We want to win obviously, but experimenting with the pitchers is ok now as we are safely in the regionals.

What do we want? We are LSU a national icon and powerhouse in CBB, we want to be in the CWS. We are a Blue Blood of College baseball therefore we expect to be in the CWS every year. That’s how the mentality of every Blue blood program in any sports is.
