He got us out of a huge jam and it may be the difference between making the NCAA tournament. Hopefully we can take game 3 and sweep.

Let’s just hope he doesn’t do what he did against Bama in Game 1

Catcher costs us in G1 - not Herring.

It’s a bit of both. The catcher didn’t walk the bases loaded.

The thing I think happened was Griffin let his emotions get the best of him. He is young and hopefully learns from this. I’ll give him a pass for this. More of the blame goes on Milazzo not setting his feet, but throwing on the run.

He straight up has been on the last two games. Holman was great today as well. Little has been shaky. Jump pitched great yesterday. We need to piece together game 3.

So he’s like 6+ and 1 in saving/costing LSU games this year. Anyone complaining about Herring is a clown. Guy has been more valuable to this team than pretty much anyone else on the roster

Herring walked the bases loaded and hit a guy in GM 1 @Bama. Then Milazzo threw it into RF. That’s a team effort.

Both guys are also invaluable to this team regardless of past miscues.

Piss off with this crap. Without Herring relief pitching this year this team would have been out of playoff contention weeks ago.

Him, Holman, Jump, and last part the season Little are the only consistent pitchers on this team. Everyone has a bad outing in a long baseball season. Even saying that he made the pitch when it counted unfortunately his defense didn’t make the play. You wouldn’t be saying this if Milazzo throw was accurate.

I wouldn’t blame him for that. He got some very weak contact that turned into a hit and an error by someone else to lose it.

I’d say Johnson more screwed up last weekend. No mound visit or anything really left him out there to dry

Yep. LSU would probably be like 7-22 in the SEC without Herring

Ole Miss season is likely done now
Florida is leading UGA in the 10th inning and need to win today to all but save their season

I am so impressed with Herring. He is a really good pitcher. He is as valuable as Holman.

So stupid.

Go rewatch the game and look at the number of blunders and freaking Walks by the pitchers in the 8th and 9th in that game.

There were at least 5 other things that cost them last week including Pearson’s misjudging a fly ball early in the game cost a run or 2…

Just trying to figure out how one could look at a single play when so many bad plays cost runs?

Yeah man that one play saved the season. frickers are insufferable. What about winning the last 4/5 SEC series. No doubt Herring is a huge part. Bet you were bitching about the Milazzo play to end the game against Bama saying that one play just cost us the season.

He got squeezed pretty hard .....bama and all. Still the same....the catcher fks up a routine game ending play.

Herring
