And from my understand the traffic is bad all the way to Port Sulpur with that new LNG plant.

Morgan City and Port Barre. Two dead towns with nothing going on. Unfortunately, this is the norm for a lot of towns in Louisiana.

Shreveport. Literally nothing here. Casinos, LSUS, trailer parks

2 great local breweries, an open container pedestrian district in Bossier lined with bars restaurants and an outdoor music venue, a great small community in south Shreveport with a great park, lake and events lined with a cigar lounge top notch restaurants and yet another outdoor music venue. A few phenomenal local restaurants (Franks, Franks pizza, fat calf, ki mexico etc), and a few local downtown festivals that are super easy to attend...yea... nothing here. total shite hole. Certainly not a place worth living even if cost of living is stupid low

You think that there's less to do in Shreveport than Coushatta or Krotz Springs?

1. Municipal Auditorium: has awesome acts come through all the time
2. Fat Calf: Top 100 restaurant in America
3. Norton Art Gallery
4. Noble Savage Bar/Restaurant/ Live music
5. Louisiana Grand Stand - Concerts
6. Multiple Breweries
7. Cross Lake
8. Hunting and Freshwater fishing not far out of town
9. Casinos
10. Farmers markets, and plenty of places that do movie nights and small venue live music.

I'm not saying that this place has as much to do as Dallas, but come on there's a lot more to do here than y'all pretend. I agree that if you're 21-25 it can be tough, but if you have a family there's plenty to do.

Like you said hardly any locals left mostly a transient population down there now.

Obviously you've never been to Rayville if you think it the worst towns in Louisiana. It's boring, sure. But it's one of the cleanest, well kept delta towns there are, and home to some good folks.

I’d say Killian has to be near the top based on the last month of not having water.

Your the type of people that live in Shreveport. I bet you don't brush your teeth or use deodorant.

Immediately proceeds to name four decent things there.

I'm not a fan of Shreveport either, but it isn't even close to being the worst.

Two top tier breweries, four decent to good golf courses, good fishing, good mountain bike riding, decent food, decent bar scene, aquarium, Louisiana hayride/municipal, some decent festivals.

That's just off the top of my head. But sure, continue to think whatever trailer park town you crawled out of with one Exxon, one tex-mex joint and 50 meth heads is better.

If we’re only counting the towns 10K and higher, I’d have to put Alexandria, Shreveport and Houma on the list.

Those places are god awful

Vidalia all the way to Winnsboro, baw! What a depressing area! It's amazing how cool Natchez can be but the next 50 miles across the bridge is complete garbage.
