Even if they did improve, they likely wouldn’t be on our timeline.

Griff is doing his thing. I've seen even more interest in BI than I expected.

I don’t even know who that handle is but Deni and #2 is nice.

If this is even true we must really love someone besides sarr

Would need to add about 12 million to that deal

The 2nd pick makes 9 million, so deal could be done 30 days after draft using that salary, then add in Davis or Coulibali or Kispert then salaries would work.

Otherwise we would have to take Holmes or Kuzma

Have to believe Sheppard is on top of his draft board, he projects to be a 39% high volume 3 point shooter as a rookie, is highly athletic, and can be the lead guard

Either that or he has another deal lined up for a top pick

They’re not giving up Bilal or Kispert.

They’ll probably force us to take Kuzma or Holmes like you said. Why I feel Washington is not a great trading partner for us.

I dunno, Sheppard, Avdija and Kuzma would be a solid return if we can get a good return for Kuzma flipping to a 3rd team. Nothing flashy, but definitely solid

Holding Kuzma until the deadline could be a good move also, once teams start to have players go down they could be enticed by him.

Deni had a really good year last season on a team with toxic shot chuckers like Poole. Would be great depth, super team friendly contract, and he’s only 23.

Deni went 18/9/5 per 36 and is on a team friendly deescalating contract.

The Kuzma thing scares me. Im not really sure where he fits in and holding him means we’re playing him- but where? If he comes off the bench- his production likely goes down and so will his value.

I guess the key would be if we can immediately reroute him in the offseason after acquiring him. If we can’t I just don’t see how he fits at all on this team.

There's no way we take on that contract.

Reroute him to Orlando which is desperate for shooting .

Get back Isaac or Suggs or whatever you can conjure up

No. The answer is to leave him off the table so you don't have to worry about trying to move him.

4 team trade:

Pels get: D Murray and Wendell Carter

Hawks get: Kuzma

Magic get: CJ

Wizards get: Some combination of picks and/or young players with upside from the Pels.

I’m not opposed to sending a pick to Atlanta if they want more. And magic might be able to send some assets to Washington if needed.

Magic want shooting, they get it. Hawks get off Murray’s contract and get a good player at a different position. Wizards get assets for kuzma.

Am I too high right now?

If they want more than Kuzma for Murray?
