There aren't.

I;ve always found practicality saves me a hell of a lot of money and worry. I really dont need luxury level trim for a utility vehicle. The one I just got has more junk on it than i 'll ever need.
I get why people buy practical cars just like I understand why people buy expensive vehicles. Some in these threads act like they can’t understand why people like different things.

There are a decent bit. Every new Escalade or and many Denali’s fall in that range or even higher.

Not really. Posters in this thread are falling victim to the "living in a bubble" thing that happens.
Sales of the Yukon have fallen every year since 2018. Same with the Escalade.
Now, if you want to talk ridiculous looking circus pickup trucks.

I don't know about 90k+, but I definitely see tons of 60k+ vehicles on the road every day.

Consumer loan delinquency already above 2020 and climbing.
People underneath on car loans, inability to pay back COVID loans, majority that haven’t been paying student loans, people over 3 years that bought houses and cars 20-30% inflated. Plus, people keeping cars longer that aren’t necessarily “built to last”.

You need to see the carpool lines a the 2 schools closest to my house. There are plenty over $100k.

my neighborhood in nola is full of late model (and some slightly older) AT4s, Denalis, and Lexus GX and LXs. I'd move the number to 70-95 or something like that.

No issue if they can afford it. But a lot cant and then complain about the price of things.
Very wealthy people dont face the same tradeoffs middle class folks do. It aint the wealthy with eyes bigger than their wallet.
My first choice yesterday was a Jeep Wrangler. About the same price as the vehicle I bought, but maintenance costs would eat me alive, it had higher mileage. I can afford the car, but the upkeep made me balk.
Paid the same for more vehicle, less maintenance and a strong warranty. Always wanted a wrangler, but practicality overrules vanity.

A quick search at a local Chevy deal they had 3 Tahoes under 70k. All the rest were 70k or more. Add TTL these are 80-90k SUVs.
I was actually surprised they had two under 60k but those were the lowest trim.
Still high AF

The consumer is breaking. Credit lines are drying up. Inflation is just about at the point where people can’t afford to live.
Banks are revising credit lines down and consumers are still maxing them to maintain their same standard of living.
Millions of people are 10k or more upside down on cars with loans that cost them $750 per month for 72 months.
Once the credit runs out, businesses are going to see their revenues plummet, they will then lay off, creating a downward spiral.
Pay off your debt, get on a budget, acquire new career skills quickly. I’m not saying it’s the apocalypse coming but the economy is about to take a big major shite. People have been living above their means for too long.

What a POS, a friend bought one, had electrical problems, got it fixed, I said, sell it. A month later, it's broke again, sell it! Around Covid, my nephew bought one for his daughter, she was involved in a wreck, too almost a year for parts. I said sell it.

Bro a sequoia is 82k. So Toyotas aren’t as inexpensive as you think.
Check a Camry/Accord/Civic. Can buy a 2024 for less than $30k. You can other vehicles for that price, but they ain't gonna roll for 15 years/300k trouble free miles.

T future is a gig economy. People need to learn diverse skills instead of just specializing.
versatility will once again be important, as it was decades ago.

It’s unlikely that those cars will either. In fact it’s probably better than 50% chance the Hondas have an A/C issue that’ll cost 1500 or more within 100k miles.
