Kelly says no to 2 DLs that were out shopping for a big payday. I thought the SEC rant would respect that we aren’t going to buy transfers.

Instead it’s a mocking fest.

I just don’t understand this place anymore.

Harsin didn't want to play the NLI game either. I'd be pissed if I were an LSU fan.

Is this his Les Miles’ “thick chest “ moment?

I firmly believe we'll buy all the players that we can afford under whatever budget that may be.

Reality : LSU just signed the #13 overall player in 5* DL Dominick McKinley and will not be buying players like the two who just transferred to OU and Miami.

Gump fan : “Brian Kelly says he can’t recruit the defensive line!!!”

Saban bought players when it wasn’t allowed. Now that they allow it, he quit.

No one’s buying what Blake Baker and his sidekick are selling ?

I’m shocked. Stunned even.

Kelly said he wouldn't get dragged into a bidding war and that his program is selling something else. Sounds like LSU is going to resemble the last 2 years on defense.

Without knowing all the latest numbers of each school, it doesn't look like top collectives are even competing without at least 10 million in the NIL budget this year.

For the record, I think we should have bought some players.

Brian Kelly has never seemed to put an emphasis on defensive line play. Which may also be one reason he has never won a national championship.

There are less SEC quality defensive linemen recruits/transfers than any other position and you need a stable of them. Skill players win individual trophies. Interior linemen win championship trophies.

This thread is strange. When rumors of NIL began, the majority of posters here were in favor of players getting paid. Now that NIL is reality, the majority of posters are against players getting paid.
