For some, it's seeing someone with a piss-poor take being unwilling to bend on it regardless of the logic behind explaining why/how they are wrong (see: MMT).
For some, it's seeing the way others on the opposite side of the debate discourse in that way so they respond at that level.
For some, it's that the issue/stance they are responding to is so ridiculously extreme (like a tweet proponing giving 3yr olds hormone treatments because their parents think they are trans or a teacher messing around with an 11yr old) that they feel stronger discourse is necessary to fully express themselves.
For some, it may be that they just haven't had their coffee yet.

Your question addresses the very heart of the problem, ie anonymity. Anonymity is the truest test of a person’s character. The definition of integrity is what someone would do if no one ever would find out. So I guess we are finding out the true nature of many of the posters on here.
As an aside, I am guessing 4cubbies is a reference to being a mom of four? If that is true then you must be a pretty cool chic to be able to come in here and deal with likes of us pig headed men! Thanks for trying to inject some decency in this place. I know I for could use a reminder like this every once in a while!
Now that answers the question of why they are so nasty on here but it doesn’t answer the question of what made them nasty to begin with? Be honest, do you like the way I just spoke to on here better than those who gave vile crude and rude replies? I ask this because most women I have met say they want a nice man but in the end they don’t respect them because they are usually pushovers.
Just being honest, I can tell you most everyone in here has had to learn how to get ahead and believe me it usually isn’t by being Mr. Nice guy. Most women want a guy who has an edge and most pathways to success require a dose of ruthlessness. Oh sure we act civil to each other out in the real world but behind the façade is a killer who inwardly is willing to tear you apart if necessary. Life on life’s terms is not pretty stuff.

As someone who voted right with you until about the 2008 timeframe, I can say that my experience was quite interesting. The vast majority of my closest friends and associates were leftists. It was this group that started to tell anyone to the right of Stalin that they were evil. This same group then systematically unfriendliness anyone that had a disagreement on anything.
I watched my friends on the right, especially Christians, become more and more accepting of leftist causes, but that still wasn’t enough. If you don’t think a man can give birth or everything isn’t the fault of white men, then you got removed from their lives. I watched feminist women divorce husbands over politics. I watched friends openly brag about being estranged from their immediate families because they didn’t agree with Obama. When Trump was elected, this behavior was even worse. Since I only post my beliefs here, I’m still following all of them and their insanity.
My favorite is always the holidays. They can’t wait to ruin family gatherings by talking about politics. Some have even posted vids or screenshots of family members asking them to let go and just be civil, but nope. When the people you vote for openly call for violence, you tend to respond in kind.
And these same people who reject their own families over politics are now calling those they rejected cult members.
Hope this helps, but you do embrace being willfully obtuse for your leftist ideology.

Your complaints in your threads are missing the middle part of the puzzle. You seem to only be concerned with the outer frame of the puzzle and it is trivial concerns. While important, you don't seem to discuss that local DA's have let murderers out on low cash bail over and over.
Your need to discuss is seen as fruitless and a waste of time-- and therefore ridiculed... Because you are closed to the things that lead to your complaints you want to discuss.
You lack the big picture. It has nothing to do with whether you are male or female. It is like people are watching the biggest divisive chaos, a spiritual battle. Good is bad, bad is good, terrorists are enabled to riot with a wide open border. And you want to talk about some fluffy side story of injustice while you are blind to the big picture that lead to it.
