Much like with their affinity for tattoos, these youngish women will one day become old women who regret placing their own personal comforts over motherhood.

The audacity of women embracing their autonomy. Only insecure men are threatened by that

I actually like this because it means less people, less demand for houses, same supply. Prices go down on houses.

I didn’t choose to be childless. But I’ve certainly made the best of the cards I was dealt.

Same. You have to make the best out of what life throws your way. How you respond matters more than whatever happened

DINK is the best lifestyle.
Love it, live it

I have moments too when I realize I would be 46 and single with a 4 year old (and coparenting with a horrible person) if IVF had worked. And that sounds absolutely exhausting to me now

I probably will but that last 3 years have been hell on our family between inflation and graduate school. Had to sell a car and lay off an employee so I could keep my business afloat and pay for my wife's school.

Sure. More power to them. I’m only saying that at some point things aren’t as shiny as they once were. Then right after that menopause hits, the body starts to wear out, and the next thing you know, some “special nephew” is your power of attorney responsible for choosing the nursing facility where you’ll spend the remainder of your cognizant months bemoaning your meaningless existence.

Nearly one-third of the millennial women surveyed said that the eye-watering sums which come with fertility treatment, egg freezing, adoption, and surrogacy are what has kept them from family planning.

Apparently those in the bold group have never heard of sex with a male counterpart or are lesbians.
A third of millennial women are between 38-43 right now. Also birth control fricks some chicks ability to have kids up

No they aren’t. But as my mother, who had 8 of us, always said “ if you wait until you can afford it you will never have any. You just figure it out.”
And we all have.

I care more about what the trends say about us/the culture than the actual not having kids part.
People with less and less skin in the game for the future, which is something that also applies to people with kids who don't prioritize their kids' long term well-being, is going to bear some rotten fruit.

…but don’t you worry about kids getting hormone blockers and other synthetic hormones because it is completely reversible right?

They have also been eating from a food supply that is destroyed by hormones etc.
There is something very wrong with the number of people I know who have had to use IVF. Clearly - there is something wrong but people act like IVF is just normal now.
