Where to go to shop for auto rates?

Haven't shopped auto rates before - usually took the 0% or 0.9% that dealerships were offering as incentives. I have excellent credit so I'm just looking for the lowest rate at this point. Where should I start?

You might actually find some decent rates from the dealers as their inventories are backing up. But I wouldn’t expect 1%.

Manufacturers still run financing specials, but its more like 5-6% rates and only on certain models. Check the manufacturer website to see if whatever model you’re looking at has any finance specials running.
Otherwise look to your local credit union

Acura is offering 1.9% right now. I'm sure plenty of others are as well as their inventory isn't moving.

Only way to get a good rate right now is manufacturer financing. I got 1.9% for 72 mos. through GM Financial last month. It's specific to certain vehicles but you're not getting a rate near that from a bank or credit union for the foreseeable future.

VW is doing 0% but that is the only one I know of. Low rates right now are almost non-existent.
