Even the NYC mayor stated that most of the protesters are outside agitators.
Of the 14 arrested at Tulane overnight, only 2 were students.
The professional agitators probably recognize that universities tend to let the inmates run the asylum and that they can set up shop for a good while on campus (outside most state schools in the South at least).
Interesting tidbit - the Fordham president is a NOLA native and was president of Loyola until 2022. Will be interesting to see how she handles this.

My friend who I met when we were brand new in the Air Force. He's currently getting his post-grad there. He's definitely not happy with the Columbia stuff along with the traffic it's causing. He's gonna be big mad when I show him this. He'll see this tomorrow when he goes over there.
Update: His professors might be going remote to avoid what's going on. He's not too thrilled about online class although commuting to the City from essentially near Stoney Brook sucks from what I see.
