Are we ignoring the riot and violence/force used prior to that? If so, why?
Before they actually got to the capitol?. What kind of violence did you se a hundred yards from the capitol?

What did forcing entry into the Capitol have to do with free speech?
There were <1000 people that "forced" their way into the Capitol.
Out of nearly a million.
That's less than 0.1% of all that attended.
Blm and antifa/palestinewhayevers that commit crimes is over 50%

Will it really matter?
Not even a little bit. It's a throwaway he thinks sounds good, like tweeting "LAW AND ORDER!!" over and over again during the Summer of Love.
He can and does turn off voters with his public statements, but this isn't one of them.

Columbia University or any of the other fledgling commie factories which masquerade as centers for higher learning are NOT THE GOVERNMENT.
Private entities that take federal money must follow federal regulations. Columbia University takes a shite ton of federal money in the form of grant revenues and loan-enabled tuition payments.
That puts Columbia in a legal grey area in terms of their rights to restrict free speech on campus.

Which protests is he speaking of?
The ones where students and off campus activists are taking over university halls?

J6 wasn't a great look.
But was largely tame. One guy died of a heart event the next day, and one chick was killed by the police.
On a scale of "Free Hat" to "Fiery but Mostly Peaceful", it ranks about "March for Miles"
It is only a big deal because Trump, and the media's loathing of him. If Don dropped all prospects for political office, J6 would be memory holed, and all charges against Trump would be dropped. You know that as well as I do.
Protestors entering the Capital is hardly a new thing. Just the first one for a cause that Dems don't like, in support of someone the media REALLY doesn't like.
One of the most sensationalized events in US history.

You do know its.going to turn violent right? Right???

Stopping traffic and withholding access to public facilities that provide vital services to others isn't free speech.
Next question.
Next question.

After the police gave up due to force overwhelming them ?
Too bad Nancy and the DC mayor declined the presidents offer for national guard protection at the Capitol.

Was it trespassing when the capitol police pulled the barriers back and waved people into the capitol buildings grounds?
Yes.
Going inside and parading around rummaging through the house chamber and offices was trespassing and everyone involved knew it.

You only have a point if you can show who said BLM was proper in the "protests" you reference. Which poster ITT did?

inappropriate once it graduated to a riot/trespassing
You do realize that Federal buildings are property of the people. Trespassing is not a consideration. We have the right to enter.

These Palestine protests are facing similar sensationalism, with dishonest "antisemitic" memes thrown in for good measure.

Correct. The bloodthirsty baby-killers did it multiple times during the Kavanaugh & Gorsuch confirmation hearings.

Because a building is public doesn't mean it's legally accessible to the public 24/7.
If you don't believe me, go try to gain entry into the White House.

Cool. Show me which posters ITT were defending them and saying this behavior was not illegal.

None of this is relevant to a violent riot forcing entry into the Capitol without permission.
Also completely irrelevant is the reasoning for allowing the Kavanaugh protesters in during an official proceeding but not the election certification protesters.
Also completely irrelevant are the guided tours conducted on film by the capitol police.
Also completely irrelevant are the CIA/FBI agitators and participants that created the Pedocrat-desired emergency to force the certification through with no objections or debate.
Also completely irrelevant is your completely biased and distorted opinion on any of this.
