Just like the "don't say gay bill", there's no "keep prayer out of school".
Admin can't lead prayers, students can.
You'd feel the same way if admin were leading non-Christian prayers.

Can I inject a little counterpoint into the situation without being burned at the stake? I’m gonna give it a shot anyway. For the folks who insist that government has no place inserting itself into this type situation insofar as it dictating what can or can’t be said on college campuses by way of using the power of the purse, so to speak. In other words, throwing its weight around with the idea of withholding federal funds if the school doesn’t act in accordance with certain dictates from the government. There’s pushback in this situation, however it’s a completely different thought pattern, say, if the scenario is changed to wanting something like DEI eliminated from use within the school’s hiring schemes. Folks are ok with threatening to withhold funding in the DEI situation, yet denounce the same tactics in this scenario.

You’re reading way too much into this. I’m simply pointing out the irony of people who despise Christian prayer in school bowing and praying an Islamic prayer. It is a rich irony that makes them massive hypocrites.
They think Christianity is not woke enough and criticize it at every turn, then turn around and ally with the stone age people who throw gays off buildings and make make women have a male with them at all times.

And there it is folks. Classic liberal deflection.

former high school football coach Joe Kennedy was suspended from his job over post-game prayers on the 50-yard line that sometimes involved his players.
The school district explained at the time in a statement that the prayers violated "constitutionally-required directives that he refrain from engaging in overt, public religious displays on the football field while on duty."
quote:
The Supreme Court on Monday said separation of church and state does not prohibit public school employees from praying aloud on the job near students.

So, they just made this part up. Used it to take his job from him. Cuz, you know, Constitution. In 2022
And you claim there was never an official keep prayer out of school
Lulz

That’s not prayer. It’s performance.

Whole lot of faces that we let in this country or let their parents in. Nobody to blame but ourselves for that stupidity.

Supreme Court disagrees
I think I'll go with their conclusion

Even ignoring that glaring issue, that specific irony, though arguably not ironic at all, likely goes both ways.
Do you think the majority of the posters in this thread would be ok with Islamic prayers being led by public school officials?
No.
So they're in the same camp.

I addressed the sentiment with facts. Sorry you can't counter it.
