I’m asking HR Monday if I can start using moon landing and flat earth as screening questions so I don’t accidentally hire a fricking retard.

Entirely fine with the idea we’ve landed on the moon but re-enacted pictures and/or video footage.

If you wanna mount a trophy bass these days the taxidermist just makes a replica. Doesn’t mean the fish wasn’t real.

Sometimes faking it is just easier.

That’s what she said.

There's two things that bother me about stuff like this:

Number one there is an incentive for someone to tap into any crackpot idea that enough people believe, because you can make money off of it. The dumber the idea, The easier it is to extract money out of these people because they're not really good at thinking which is why they're convinced in the first place.

Number two, the list of countries which would love to try to shame the United States by providing evidence that the moon landing was fake is full of people that would love to do it if there was any actual evidence. The Russians or the Chinese or the Indians who are all launching their own probes and taking independent pictures that aren't being filtered by NASA aren't part of an American government conspiracy - The people that fall for this shite tend to be the kind of people who don't have passports and they don't realize that other countries exist and that American government isn't existing in some sort of a vacuum as the leader of the sneaky global cabal.

In the 60's we were taught about the Van Allen Belt. I didn't believe even as a kid that the moon landing actually occurred. It was impossible then and it still is.

Here are China’s rover pics from 2019 mission. Notice anything similar? YOU CAN’T SEE THE STARS in the background. That’s one of the major things deniers say about the original photos. I actually never realized Sibrel is the guy punched by Buzz Aldrin, which is awesome!

Look at third world countries Russia (despite a slight crash) and China landing recently, along with Japan (no surprise there). I’m just confused how one takes off from the moon with enough thrust and precision to connect to the craft that orbits around the moon before leaving. Maybe I should read the wiki sometime..

…but isn’t that kind of risky knowing you only have one shot at it?

One of the things that makes debating with people who want to believe in a conspiracy is they ignore arguments that are dispositive of their theory. Until you can explain why EVERY SINGLE LANDING SITE is visible, including footprints, the conspiracy theory doesn’t hold water. There are many other tangential facts, for example, you also have to disbelieve all 24 men who flew moon missions. You have to believe all 24 are lying, and have done so their entire life.

Astronauts made it through the Van Allen radiation belt with an aluminum shield and anyone who says otherwise believes the earth is flat & only 6000 years old.

I don't know what to believe.
I don't trust that it's real, because I don’t trust the government and the media. I do believe the news in '69 was more straight forward news than now, but they still couldn't be trusted completely.

I don't trust that it's fake, because I don't trust the government and the media. I don't trust photos or videos, because everything is doctored anymore. I think Rogan wants to believe certain things, so his confirmation bias drives him. He wants so badly to believe that other life forms from other galaxies are visiting us and have been for ages. Maybe it's true, or maybe not.

What is that upside down umbrella doing on the front of this thing? Is that thing supposed to be satellite guided in 1969?

Elon Musk and other astrophysicist say that current missions to the moon would require 8 starship launches to fuel up a single moon trip.

This is all.ypu need to know. Even with advanced efficiency in Rockets, they would need 8 times the fuel to make the trip.

There's also information on how bad leg muscles go bad from weightlessness, and that it would take weeks to recover and rebuild the strength to walk. Impossible to jump out of the rescue and walk. That's what scientists from Russia say they dealt with when their astronauts spent considerable time in space.

It puzzles me when facts show it wasn't possible back then, yet people will argue it happened

if it was faked, it would've been obvious to the russians and they definitely would've called BS during the cold war. it really happened

One thing the "We faked it on a Hollywood Studio" people forget is that there was a major Hollywood movie contemporary to the moon landings. Stanly Kubrick's epic blockbuster "2001: A Space Odyssey" was released in April of 1968. It was nominated for Academy Awards for Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Art direction and won the Oscar for, Best Visual Special Effects. In short, it was the best that Hollywood could do at the time. Now, all one has to do is look at the Moon sequences from that movie and compare them to NASA's ACTUCAL footage from the moon. From the look of the lunar landscape, to the way the Astronauts move down to the behavior of the dust particles on the lunar surface, there are a lot of differences in the two.

Ladies and Gentlemen for your viewing pleasure....

Sibrel brings up some interesting stuff and I can’t say that I really trust our government BUT that dude 100% comes off as a paranoid schizophrenic.

The thing is it’s so easy to disprove if it was fake. China and Russia would have absolutely debunked it by now and I’m sure Russia was quite desperate to debunk it with their population. All you have to do is send a satellite there and you can see the very footpaths that they walked. You can’t fake that shite.
