Just PSA don’t run ruff water with it that high. You will crack the shite out of your fiberglass

Don't know why. It doesn't make the fish bite. It only shows where they are. A guide had one in toledo bend and we didn't do good even though we were on top of them. They just didn't want to bite.
but to they greatly improve the chances of filling the livewell?
Thats a rhetorical question btw.

Looking at your screen you might want to adjust it for the stitching effect. It might be under the focus setting
Thanks, I'm going to youtube that then see what I can play with on the unit.

For sure. I compact, lay the mount down and unsnap the screen from the mount just to be extra careful with it so far any time I get up on plane. I need to make myself stick to that.
And to all the haters out there... I could catch them with a Lowrance TI9 before I got a livescope. I just couldn't see them chase and bite...

Awesome. I have the same mount and love it. I use the ACC GS13SG Crossover13 foot rod. I have many others but they sit on the corner since I purchased this one.

Exactly. I used to see bright little tree ornaments in the brush piles with DownScan. Just like for Santa Claus. And I used to decorate those brush piles with lots of dangling crappie jigs. I rarely loose crappie jigs anymore. I now have two lifetimes of crappie jig heads I'll never use. I can't imagine how impressive the upgrade in that technology will be.
When I start to ID bass and then target them I'll be next level. I am catching a lot of bass now. But they are up by shallow grass lines. Still. I need to find where the big girls go in May and then the summer.

I run ACC rods, and BnM's as well as others, from 16ft down to 6'6", once we started casting a few years ago, the long rods stay home (mainly). My favorite is a ACC 6'6", have several. I dont line up on a fish, my foot never stops all day sweeping back and forth until I see a fish, if the fish is 30ft to the left, I cast to it.

When I was a kid after spending many unsuccessful days in a deer stand I thought, if only there was a way to see if the deer were close.
This is that method and honestly I’m not a fan. I’m not fully against it. Just feel like it takes the “fishing” and “hunting” out of it.

Curious to know what the future holds for fish limits though. Fisheries set limits not expecting for people to reach them everyday or every other day. 5 crappies/day coming to a lake near you?

The concern is legitimate. I'd like to hear from the fisheries biologists because that's what they were trained to do and why we pay them.

The next live scope accessory will be a mini remote controlled submarine disguised as a fish that you will use to go out and snag the selected fish with a big treble hook. Can't take a chance of the fish not being hungry.

Do people use live scope off shore?

Damn, did Alan Jackson ski behind your boat in jeans during the 90’s haha?

Isn't scoping like using a crossbow, hunting high fence and running dogs? Asking for a friend?

Love all these outdoormen complaining about livescope. Do they complain about the use of compound bows, fiber optic sights, range finders, deer cameras with pics sent to their phones, crossbows, illuminated scopes, etc. Has all this technology caused the LDWF to lower the number of deer tags because to many deer are being killed? Not to mention the use of thermal and nightvision scopes for hog and coyote hunting.
A livescope wont make a fish bite or put them in the boat. It will let you see if they are interested in your bait or not. Kind of like the camera that's taking pics of your deer feeder.
