Stay ahead in the count and that doesn’t happen
Buck was 3-0 and got a lucky 3-1 call IMO.

8th inning down 3. Odds aren’t great and we cant lose tomorrow. I’d hate to burn top bullpen arms for no reason

Probably because it was still 3 run difference with 3 outs left (now 4)

Trying not to burn anyone for tomorrow and keep the game within reach

After the run-rule yesterday with Gage full game, I didn't expect this at all with Holman on the mound.

I thought we had this for sure.

Agreed. I had no idea this garbage team would get to Holman. But I’ve been working all day. Didn’t see the first 5 innings.

They needed to sweep for a chance at postseason realistically. They instead folded like a lawn chair today.

Kind of crazy that we rolled into the season with a guy starting on Friday nights that might not even see the mound until our next mid week game, but here we are…

Yeah.

And for the record, I'm not trying to slap-fight with other posters, but this is disappointing even more than the disappointing season.
