Damn, tough to hear.

Saw his son and Greg Allman's son play at ACA about a year ago in Lafayette. His son has the look and the exact sound as his dad.

Highly recommend checking them out - Allman Betts Band - if theyre ever in your area.

Fortunate to see him with ABB in 1998 at Jazz Fest. One of the most memorable performances I’ve seen.
He was special.

Rest in Peace Brother.
Caught him twice with the ABB - OKC Amp in 1994 and again at Starplex in Dallas in 1999. Both shows were great

Used to play shows with a gunslinger belt on with loaded six-shooters. He was a baw. RIP.
