I have an Rtic and a Yeti. I use my Ozark trail rotomolded 45 quart more than either because it’s lighter and it has wheels.

I have an rtic ultralight and it’s much lighter than the non version, but still not as light as a regular arse igloo or whatnot

I mean, it’s cool I guess. If I’m using it, it stays in my truck wherever I’m at, or I move it one time to a convenient spot for the day or weekend. It’s got 2 pretty big plugs, and a center divider that is an ice pack.

I have one of the lighter RTICs that’s nice. Don’t go with IceHole. That things a fricking tank.

Igloor has a 52 quart BMX cooler that weights 16 lbs.

I feel like a light, decently made cooler is something that would sell quite well. If people could only understand that it isn't going to resist a grizzly going at it for an hour. Aside from the weight, the shear mass of plastic takes considerable ice to bring down to temp hence the "pre-chilling" we all hear about.

One of my most used coolers is an old Omaha steak styrofoam cooler. It keeps things cold longer then anything I've ever had. Not very durable but its been on several multi-day camping/canoeing trips and is still waiting in my shed to be taken on another trip.

man I miss my 70 qt. Flew out of my boat on the Basin bridge and got obliterated a couple of years back.

It's a little heavier than you want but the Lifetime 55 Quart with wheels is awesome. I've had it for two years, no complaints. 27 lbs, a little lighter than the other rotomolded ice chests the same size.

I think they're made in the US, too.

New RTICs have wheels - they don’t seem to keep ice as long as the old ones, though.

this. I have 5 rotomolded coolers of all kinds and they are heavy and cumbersome and really just take up space now.

I've got the RTIC 35 ultra lite. Love it. Perfect for family of 4 out on the boat. Really lightweight. Holds ice a long time. I've got some of the RTIC ice packs too and they work really well.

I have one and it's worked great. However, I highly recommend NOT leaving fish in it for two weeks though.
