It wouldn't be so bad if I thought these were bad baseball players. But they aren't, they are just playing bad. It is frustrating.
Honestly, down 3-1, top 9 with 1 out and runner on. Who do you want coming to the plate? Bear and Tanks. Strikeout and Flyout. Done. And it's not like neither doesn't have a "clutch gene".

And several of them were due to errors. UT was averaging 10.6 runs/game prior to this series.
Defense has done its job. Must give credit to Tenn pitchers and blame our offense for a lack of production especially with runners in scoring position.

I'm to the point of wondering how much of the existing roster is going to be culled and where is all the massive talent coming from that needs to be brought in since all teams will be trying to add proven high level players. When you can't get help/production from 5th year players you asked to stay something is seriously wrong. Obviously Tanks will leave for MLB, but damn this team is the poster child of ineptitude at driving in base runners and timely hitting. I like what I see from some first year guys but that's a drop in the bucket for next season. Friggin sucks another quality start was pissed away today.
