Any suggestions on someone that might beat Scalise. He has got to go. He just voted to continue FISA

Do not go towards replacing anyone until the election is over.
ETA: If you are a Republican in Congress, do not bring it up until after November 5th.

Scalise won the 2022 election by 73%
He is entering his 15th year in office.
Apparently he is who the voters want.

Scalise is in that Congressional seat until he decides to move on.
FACT.
FACT.

That's the paradox of U.S. politics. Everyone hates Congress, but they like their own Congressman.

Yep.
Well I can’t vote for someone else because the Dem/Repub will win.
$36 trillion dollars and warrant less spying later…..

And 95% of the voters are too sissy shite scared to take a chance in the primary voting for Joe Kraken who is on the ballot. If the voters are part of the same party as the incumbent, then they're just going with him/her the vast majority of the time.

Can you imagine what a disaster it would be for Republicans if they didn’t renew FISA and there was a terrorist attack?
The FBI director is testifying that not renewing it places the country in grave danger. I’d have a hard time voting against renewal given the stakes. What I’d like to see is greater oversight of the entire operation and more judicial review.

It has pretty much got to where the Republicans are just as bad as the Democrats. It doesn’t seem to matter who we vote for.

No, I’m serious. The goal is to win in November. Why would you take such a gamble in a high stakes election? Renew the Bill and punt it to the next Trump administration.
Biden is destroying America with the open border. If we lose, it’s game over. I see no way back from that defeat.
If it means funding spending bills and spy programs I hate to win in November, then so be it. We’ll try to sort the mess out in Trump’s second term.

The game has been over for a while. It's about beating the spread at this point.

So you’re sacrificing your freedom for safety?
I have had enough of compromise.
I want my freedoms back.

If that’s your take, then just stay home in November. If you think things won’t get worse by leaving the border open for another 4 years, then I don’t know what to tell you.

You’ll probably be thinking differently if your family is in the kill zone of what could’ve possibly been an avoidable terrorist attack. It’s a good and necessary tool this day in age. It’s not the tool that’s the problem - it’s the person using it. That’s where the attention needs to be.

I guess we're going to replace every representative every time they vote for anything we don't like.

My government and it’s three letter henchmen are more of a concern to me than any terrorist organization.
You’re scared. Admit it.
