Just to provide some context here Jj. The data from your link is from the Census Bureau. According to their report

% of registered voters who voted

91.8% in 2020
87.2% in 2016
86.7% in 2012
89.6% in 2008

I took the premise of this thread to be that 92% turnout was a historical high. Is there another premise?

It is more important where these additional voters voted. Even based on 2008 Black Jesus turnout there were an additional 2.2% of registered voters voting which would be more than enough to swing the results.

I saw 250,000 Pennsylvania votes get switched to Biden live. Democrats stole the hell out of this election.

Thousands of ballots with no adresses and the only vote cast on the ballot was a vote for biden.

An additional confounding factor was a near-record 11m jump in the number of 2020 voter registrations .... during a pandemic. There was a similar jump leading into the 2004 election. But, of course turnout was 5% lower.
