30 minutes to play a hole not counting the time they were waiting on the tee. That’s just fricking nuts.

ETA: the last putt on 10 was at 4:01 CDT. Scottie just finished 11 at 4:43 CDT

DeChambeau bogeying 18 and losing a share of the lead in the process. Other than that, nothing much.

Pace of play for everyone yesterday was awful. Was watching guys routinely take 2+ minutes to hit their 3rd shot into 15.

The back tee coupled with the pin location on #13 has ruined the hole today. You could push that tee up 50 yards and force players to make a decision to go for it. As is, its been a 3 shot par 5 for most of the field with guys laying up with short irons.

Definitely has nothing to do with the 20+ mph wind in the guys faces. Also, weird to post this right after Scheffler hit the ball in the water while going for it

Who is Smylie Kaufman? I must have missed the year he won a green jacket.

Of course it does, which is why they could've moved the tee up to make the hole reachable for more of the field.

Why is it weird? That hole has traditionally been a 2 shot par 5 for most players. The best player in the world had to stripe a drive to even get into position to have a decision to make. And I don't know about you, but watching guys go for a green with a long iron is a LITTLE more exciting than them laying up with a 9 iron.

I think the 3rd shot has been incredibly entertaining to watch, but I definitely get your point.

I honestly wonder if they kept it back for pace of play reasons. Having everyone lay up should help pace of play and it’s been egregiously slow today.
