I’m talking places that have a strong Louisiana cultural influence but aren’t technically in Louisiana. Specifically a South Louisiana influence.
How many of these truly exist? A few that I’m aware of are Houston, Beaumont/Setx, Mississippi Gulf Coast and maybe Mobile. I can’t tell if it extends into the FL Panhandle or if that’s just the sure number of La folk that vacation there.

When I say Houston I’m including all surrounding counties and suburbs so yes definitely including Montgomery Co.
I always thought it felt like a Louisiana enclave but wasn’t sure if that was just the whole metro as a whole or just Mo Co

Thats where a lot of my family went to after Katrina. They built a few houses on some land.

Houston is Louisiana's largest city. Just look at the last names in the phone book if there's still one published.

By that metric it’s also Mexico’s northern most city.
