Fossils in Greece Suggest Human Ancestors Evolved in Europe, Not Africa
Why is this controversial? He is claiming that an ancient ancestor to the first hominids developed outside of Africa and migrated to it where they evolved into modern humans.
Unless the evidence was fabricated I simply do not see how this theory is controversial or even the slightest bit political.

I knew they had been lying to us with this Africa bullshite all along!
That’s not what this article is claiming at all. It’s not even attempting to dispute our ancestors evolved in Africa, it’s claiming the ancestors to our ancestors’ ancestors evolved in Europe and migrated to Africa.

The reason I don’t buy the “out of Africa” hypothesis is that it would be logically impossible for prehistoric humans to find their way to all corners of the globe like they did.
Logically impossible? Outside of the South Pacific and Australia, everything was connected by land. People could simply walk there.
And the South Pacific was mostly connected by land during the time it was colonized but you’re not giving ancient humans the credit they deserve for how intelligent they were.

Please explain in detail how human beings used their legs to walk all the way from Africa to Patagonia to the Orkney isles to Svalbard.
The amount of land/ice sheets/etc to cross would have been beyond comprehension.
You put your right foot out first. Once it hits the ground you bend your knee and flex your foot and move your left foot in front of it, in what’s called a stride.
Humans have been doing it for the entirety of their existence and can travel upwards of 20 miles a day. That’s 7,000+ miles a year.

A recent analysis of fossils recovered in the 1990s in the village of Nikiti in northern Greece supports the controversial idea that apes, the ancestors of humans, evolved in Southeastern Europe instead of Africa.
Translation: Anthropology and fossils are racist. I guess next you're going to try to tell me Wakanda isn't real.

Dna shows homo sapiens interbred with neanderthal and also denisovans. Were no neanderthal or denisovan in africa (so far). Africans have dna of an unidentified hominim. But is a complex mosaic of hominims around the old world that science cant really explain. Afaik, the oldest sapiens, so far, is almost 300k year old from in morocco.
I consider neanderthal, denisovan, and unknown hominim to be human tho, since they could interbreed with sapiens.

It's weird that some folks would rather throw their own species history completely out just because they don't like current Africa.
Africa a million years ago =/= current Africa geopolitics

Sorry pal, hate to bust your bubble, but, no evolution.

It is my belief that ape like creatures were all over the world and humans evolved simultaneously but independently.
I think there was once ape in South America that humans evolved from
I think there was once ape in Asia, Europe, North America, etc that also gave rise to human populations there.
Genetics disproves this easily.
This is insane
We are talking about over the course of 10s of thousands of years.

The research team led by Begun had determined in 2017 that a 7.2-million-year-old ape called Graecopithecus, which also lived in what is now Greece, could be a hominin.

Do you really seriously believe these voodoo-evo "science" claims?
There is not a single shred of evidence that proves any of these heathen-atheist fairy tales is remotely possible.

Not sure why I am going to do this with you, but literally ever single shred of real evidence supports it.

You can't be serious.
Biologically and genetically impossible, but go ahead and believe the bogus "discoveries and "muh Science".
Timeline is also fake.
The Evolution, anti-God Agenda though IS real.

I'm just going to call it racist and move on.
