Zero chance he actually believed that. He knows who this team is by now. We all do. Just gotta eat it, learn from it, adjust, and come back better next year. And I think we will.

Milam putting on a clinic at 2nd. He sure would make one hell of a shortstop if we ever find ourself in need

Guidry is absolutely not an option at SS at this point. It would most likely be Milam to SS and Pearson to 2nd.

I would rather have young talent developing than an upperclassmen transfer who can’t catch a cold

When was the last time Guidry played SS?

I think high school with any regularity. If we want to make a judgement based on past performance why not use a guy who played in over 100 SEC games and made only13 total errors? Oh wait, we are, he just makes errors when he wears purple and gold.

Pretty sure Hunt said on the radio the other day that there really is no other viable option rn. That Milam was a disaster when tried there and not ready for that spot at present.

Lynn saying bullpen is worrisome

I think having a 3rd starter that can’t go past 2 innings is worse

So my take on Guidry still being overlooked? Someone tell me he’s not a better athlete than Braswell

All this talk about Guidry the past couple days, and nobody has mentioned his injury. He got hurt in high school and just hasn't been able to handle the rigors of being an every day player, much less a 2-way guy. His back (?) can't handle the requisite reps. Didn't he have to quit after 1 inning of playing 2nd base for the Rougarou last summer?

I don’t question CJJ very much but I’m really starting to wonder what he saw in Brown over Larson. Larson is as advertised and it’s gonna be hard to get him out of the lineup.

Romero was never gonna make it

Pretty sure he was one of those that had no intention of going to school.

He said that because Milam let a ball go between his legs when he was playing in. But I also saw Braswell do that this weekend and also bobble 3 balls today with an overthrow

I thought the in-game interview with Mainieri the other day was insightful. He mentioned the season after LSU to won the Natty in 2009 was the hardest of his career because of the pressure. History may be repeating itself here for CJJ.

At least Kling is starting to see the ball a little better

Looking for silver linings here.

Brown can play all 3 OF positions. Larson is limited in the field and doesn’t look great out there at times.
