Don’t know why anyone with a brain thought she was coming back

Probably because she could make just as much in college and NIL as WNBA. Top salary in WNBA is just under $250,000.

I didn't think Angel would come back, I do wonder about HVL though. I am not sure I have a fully functioning brain anymore, however.

This feels a little unnecessary for this thread, but congrats on your win!

Sounds like you’re the one lacking brain cells but nice attempt bud.

Good luck to Angel

Because in college with NIL she could make as much money in the WNBA with endorsements. If she is tired of going to class and the numbers are a push between college and the WNBA I can see why she declared.

Likely the advice she received indicated that she would make a little more in the WNBA with endorsements.

What about her academics, when is she graduating? What's her major?

I bet she is tired of all the bullshite and scrutiny of her every single move. She will be just another player in the WNBA.

God bless her...she could have ruled college ball next year, and upped her mid-range game, but I support her 100%. She has done so much for LSU and the game in general.
Godspeed, Angel.

Wishful thinking. Could she have done more in college? Not really. She could have tried to win a second title, but that's a long road for one goal when the odds are against you from the start. I wish she would have come back selfishly, but the program would have to move on without her either way, this year or next. Best of luck to you Angel!

I definitely think a new challenge is what she needs
That opens up a spot for SaMyah Smith to get the minutes she needs.

Will WNBA teams even be patient enough with her to allow her to become a competent shooter. She offers rebounding at a high level and pretty good defense at the moment but not sure that's enough to keep her on a team for more than a year or two.

Maybe when she and Clark play each other in the WNBA, they'll bring some attention to it. Who knows!
