this trend started longggg before 2020. i could find a bunch of articles from like 2015 that talk about this. 2020/covid can't be blamed for everything.

I think the disconnect here is that the "society" he is talking about is the current unsustainable one. Not the one that has been sustained the last 20 years and slowly broken down.
Yes younger men see that this is not sustainable and does not lead anywhere. You are confusing "rejecting society" with the group that is also "rejecting society" and making the new rules.

Stop letting your kids run the house. If they need to see the real world send them to see the real world. They will straighten up after they see the streets for a couple of weeks. I promise you.

Yep. Building a nest egg not throwing money down a hole for a one bedroom apartment, and as most people aren’t savvy investors, put into a few ETF’s and blue chips… a lot of people don’t realize how powerful even moderate compound interest is.
Living at home while making a good income is a dream. Wish I would’ve done it. I wasted so much money on rent for years.
