Is Lonzo Ball’s career over?

Ball has not played basketball since Jan. 14, 2022, when he suffered a meniscus injury that led to extensive, ongoing complications in his left knee.
Reminds me of Brandon Roy with his knees.
I remember ESPN really hyping him up when he was with the Lakers. Making him the lead story even when he played mediocre. They were showing pictures of Lonzo guarding Kobe as if the torch was being passed and Lebron James was quoted “Lonzo does not know how great he is.”
Now Lonzo has faded away into obscurity.

He didn't live up to the hype but was still a very solid player when healthy

Didn't those dogshit shoes he was wearing contribute to his recurring leg injuries and cut his career short?

I thought i saw where he was back running and doing basketball activities gearing up for next season.

Great genetics for availability is the best gift an athlete has. The Greg Odens of the NBA quickly comes to mind. Ball's career makes me think about Gilbert Arenas personally. Love him or hate him, when they got on the court you knew they had the "it" factor. But injuries just wouldn't allow it. From Bill Walton to Bernard King, to John Wall, the list is just too doggone long.

He was a decent player, and I still think he was improving before all of this started happening.
But his NBA career is over. He may be able to go overseas and play, but his knees will be too shot to be an effective NBA player anymore.

Memba when Lavar was peddling Lonzo’s “first” signature show for Big Baller Brand? I memba.

Y'all ever seen how bow legged Lavar is? The knee genetics is not favorable to that family.

Sucks. Lonzo seemed like a good dude and was nothing but class as a Pelican.

If he was able to stay healthy he probably would have had a very good NBA career and maybe even made an all star game or two.
He improved a shitton in NOLA and was becoming a Rondo who could shoot.

It was over when his POS knucklehead dad knocked up his mom.
