Was behind some baw in a jacked up Ram on a 2 lane road
A decent sized turtle is crossing and the Rhodes Scholar intentionally moved over to other lane to clip it.

Agreed. The other evening I slowed down to let three young squirrels go who were chasing each other on the road. They eventually got out of the way

I yielded the right-of-way to a pair of Killdeer the other day. One was braver than the other which bailed out half way into my lane. They can nest in the most inconvenient places.

Agreed. If I see a snake in the road I intentionally hit it and will occasionally reverse to make sure its dead.
We had some baby turtles show up in our ditch a while back. Wife found them while I was at work. Had her drive to the front of our subdivision and put them near the pond

It’s almost like squirrels have a death wish seems like when I drive past one on the street they never know which way to go it always feels like I’m gonna run over the little bastards.

Back in the day when I was driving with the drivers Ed instructor I slowed down in the neighborhood because a squirrel ran in front of me and he got mad and said I was supposed to just run it over. I didn’t and stopped until it got out of the road but he wasn’t happy about it
