Right or wrong she would get crushed by that lawsuit…don’t F with the Washington Post. They have more money and more power. Threaten them all you want but don’t act on it
Just like Sandman right?

If you think liberal media is the only media that makes shite up then you are truly dumb

That's not a new revelation. It's been out there for a while.
Yes it has, but it has not gained the traction those who have reported it wanted it to, i.e. it hasn't cancelled KM. So they of course double down hoping that will do it.

This article still coming out? I’m interested now.

Care to post the rest of what I said or just what was convenient?

SEC Now played KLM’s statement. Alyssa Lang (another USCe grad) then read a prepared statement and sounded like a robot…

Even if a story could be corroborated wouldn't it be against the law if you were posing as someone else to get information?
Posted on 3/24/24 at 8:13 am to Kocin
Problem is that it's done 10x more from left outlets. Mostly to publicly shame. Who gets the most traction in today's world again? Pretty sure left leaning outlets do. So even if you were correct nobody hears about right leaning outlets.

I didn’t read this whole thread, but has anyone mentioned how hard it is to win libel lawsuits even when they make up stuff. It’s super hard.
But if you don't fight it people will assume it's true. It is a tough spot to be in, but there you are.

Sportscenter piece on Kim’s press conference - no surprise - included the anchor Hannah Storm giving out a backhanded compliment at Kim.
“[Kim] used her press conference yesterday to talk about something else - herself.”

When this shite piece drops, I hope LSU comes out with an official statement in support of Mulkey and condemning the story. It would be nice to see that from LSU.

True journalism where reporting the facts objectively was the driving force in writing a story, unfortunately, no longer exists. Today's journalism is known as "yellow journalism" or "sensational journalism" where the main goal is promote one's personal agenda or promote stories that get the most clicks and the facts no longer matter.

What if the story is true though?

And is the historical norm for journalist. Objective journalism is the outlier, not the norm. Kind of like stable, peaceful, safe international trade.

As a journalism graduate many decades ago I can attest, the news is broken. They are driven by the social media packs and scared to death of them.
The Post is purposefully releasing the story at this time to get the maximum effect at the time of year the most eyes are on women's hoops because there's probably little in the story that's not already been published multiple times. But again, it didn't realize the intended consequence before - which was to get Mulkey to bend a knee or to get her to quit or be fired.
This is absolutely IMHO the goal.

I already see what’s coming for these liberal news papers. I sense a huge rebellion coming and nonstop attacks to their financial interests. There are some very smart and capable people out there who can completely alter these crooked institutions and they should do it asap. Non stop hit jobs right back at them. Play their game against them and take them down or at the very least level the field. Make them feel exactly what it is they do to everyone else. Make them pay for all of this nonsense they started.

It's also interesting that more negative press about LSU is coming out at exactly the same time that we are courting major developers to invest $300-400M into LSU in order to make it a premier destination for both sporting and entertainment events. Nobody outside of LSU wants to see us become even more of a juggernaut and have even more of a recruiting advantage.
This isn't conspiracy theory. It's plain and simple a combination of motive and common sense.
