MAGA refuses to realize that they are a hyper-vocal 30% of the country, and opposite side of the coin to jackass current liberals. Neither side realizes 40% of the rest of the country doesn’t agree nor care about them.

Sounds good. Unfortunately when they despise you and won't ever negotiate in good faith and will in fact lie, cheat, and steal at any opportunity in an attempt to destroy you, you might want to acknowledge the reality of it and start throwing blows. You're already in a fight. You're just not swinging yet.

How would that be different than what we have now? All Johnson has done is completely cave.

They are the spitting image of progressives in this regard.

A bunch of Karens made so much noise they thought they could run things\

This is what MAGA has become

Probably going to happen anyway if the rumors are correct about a few other GOP resigning.

Its a two way street.

Theres no lack of stubbornness on either side.

We need better leadership, period. This is not workable.

The problem is the Republicans don't have the balls to shut down the government. If they did, this bill wouldn't exist.

The bottom line is that negotiations have to be made to get anything done, which is a harsh reality.

Identify the nonnegotiables and stick to your guns, otherwise the GOP needs to be willing to give a little to get what they want.

Now, I don’t have a problem with nonessential services shutting down at the federal level, and I believe that a formal budget / spending bill should be required rather than CRs and that our border security shouldn’t be held hostage by democrats for foreign aid.

If Dems are willing to hold our national security hostage for money to go overseas, the GOP should be yelling it from the rooftops every chance they get. The problem is that many of them seem to be wanting the foreign aid as well.

Well personally, I'm tired of us being the bigger man every time.

I'm ready to get petty right back at them. I want overkill destroying these people. I get we're in a period and situation where we aren't going to get everything we want. Yet.

Yet.

We have to get through this without stepping on our dicks yet again.

Then how is MAGA going to get anything accomplished?

Most elected Republicans do NOT have a mandate from their voters to support every MAGA cause.

Do yall understand this? You dont vote for them, their own constituents do
\
The problem is a populist takeover that wants to reform the system. You'll fail every single time.

You cant change it man.

Here are a few items in the Senate version Johnson would be funding if he refuses to fight

Pork City

As usual, Democrats slipped in as much pork as possible, including:

- $850k for a gay senior home
- $15 million to pay for Egyptian's college tuitions
- $400k for a gay activist group to teach elementary kids about being trans
- $500k for a DEI zoo
- $400k for a group to gives clothes to teens to help them hide their gender

Wrong. The failure is at the very top. Hes the divisive one.

Trump has absolutely no statesmanship abilities. Hes just the result of frustrated voters.

Find someone who can make deals. Donny lied to yall.
