Why would that matter? Shouldn't his continued brutally effective "America First" achievements mean more than a public persona?
They want the reality show experience. They don't (seemingly) care very much about actual achievement.

If yall are only supporting people who are die hard MAGA, your movement is doomed to a quick death.

Its a numbers game, there just arent that many hardcore.

Let's back up. I don't care if you think I'm dishonest. I don't care if you think I'm a bad person. Have at it.

I described myself not to change your mind about me. That's not important. It was in hope that you might consider that people you disagree with aren't necessarily bad people.

quote:

I in no way believe the majority of Trump voters are bad people (for example, myself and my family). And you know there is no basis to state otherwise.

Majority is an interesting word. I didn't use the term majority. I think you are trying to move the goalposts to justify your statement that was the basis of my comments.

This was your statement:

quote:

you need to come to terms with the reality that a lot of these folks are just scumbags and bad people

Yep, he has to be all in, or they will forever hate him.

America First/MAGA is an ever changing amoeba that doesn't really seem to stand for much of anything.

24-36 hours?

Well, Trump’s recharging his batteries after his attack this past weekend.
Just wait until he goes after Casey.

Its a conglomeration of archaic ideas and fear porn. Ideologically its adrift.

I wont belabor the point but his constant “listen i’m just passing along the reality don’t shoot the messenger sure it may be irrational but I can’t control it” routine…when he’s advocating for the irrationality and spreading the fake news or whatever the case may be, it’s hair pulling stuff.

The topic of this thread is about Ron deciding not to campaign for Trump. My comments were related to that, and limited to that. And, frankly, I didn't even criticize Desantis for his decision. I just offered an opinion of what I thought it would mean for Desantis moving forward.

Feel free to explain why that's out of line. I think it was perfectly on topic.

A Desantis supporter responded by saying I could go to hell.

Do you really think that comment was made solely due to the post in question?

This might come as a surprise to you, but you have a history of being anything but for unification beyond kissing Trump's ring. People do remember a few things you have said.

And I actually preferred Burgum. Get it right.

That's the part that's so sad. Everyone complains non-stop about RINOs failing to deliver. They talk about the government working for "we the people", prioritizing Americans and breaking the liberal machines. Then there's this guy in Florida actually doing those things but he isn't "America First" because he won't sufficiently kiss Trump's arse.

That certainly indicates that MAGA isn't about anything other than Trump. Especially when those very same people will look the other way every time Trump did something "America Last" or hired another establishment hack.

If they don't want to be called a cult, they shouldn't act like one.

I've said this before, but you really are about a decade behind.

You'll look back on this (if we survive people like you) in probably 10 years and realize I was right.

I was referring to the dudes bucky is regularly warring with, hence saying it directly to him in that context. It’s not a global statement about Trump people, goodness
