You can tell by reading his post. Trying to act likes he's not like that, but then wrote half a book on why people "like him 'probably' wouldn't support Ron".

You guys should have told Ron to have better jabs than that. Ron was a puss on the campaign trail and I lost a lot of respect because he wasn’t the pit bull he once was.

I wont belabor the point but his constant “listen i’m just passing along the reality don’t shoot the messenger sure it may be irrational but I can’t control it” routine…when he’s advocating for the irrationality and spreading the fake news or whatever the case may be, it’s hair pulling stuff.
I used to think it was purposeful for fun but i think he might just be wired like that and not even appreciate the absurdity

The coalition is based in the America First / MAGA ideals. That's what Trump's supporters are loyal to. And, it will be there long beyond Trump.
Desantis has chosen to alienate those who are America First / MAGA. And, he's choosing to not openly and actively support the America First / MAGA candidate.
That's pretty inarguable. Hell, a lot of Desantis supporters have acknowledged it and have simply suggested that it's a smart tactical move. They think separating himself from America First / MAGA is going to pay off when Trump doesn't win or when Trump's 2nd term is a failure.
I disagree with that, but I agree that this decision of Desantis is a very clear indicator that he doesn't want to be viewed as America First / MAGA. I just think it's going to harm him in the long term politically.
