The Speaker of the House does not control a single branch of the armed services, and does not control the National Guard. The Commander in Chief is the President.

Not only are you obtuse, you are dumb. Posting the same thing twice confirms what all of us know about you.

I mean, aside from the Capitol Police.

Wrong bitch. The president needs the request or agreement from another to put military on the streets. In the case DC mayor or Pelosi needed to authorize

You are clueless on this, the reason a president can not order troops around in the states without a Gov. approval in times of peace should be evident. He has to make them available, a Gov. or DC district mayor has to approve them.

I see you don't understand The Posse Comitatus Act.
It bars US federal troops from participating in law enforcement on US soil.
In order for US federal troops to be used for domestic law enforcement, it must be APPROVED by the US Congress.
Carry on chump.

Tboy, to deploy the National Guard in the District of Columbia, the POTUS has to get the approval of the Mayor. He made a request and she denied it.
Do your research, man. C’mon.

TBoy all kinds of wrong and only talking about who needs permission from whom etc. while avoiding the topic of this entire ordeal being a setup to hurt Trump. Read up on the Bay of Pigs and the CIA making JFK look like a fool. It’s what our government and its agencies do when they fear/dislike a President.

I suggest you read up on the House and it’s rules and who controls it.

Militarization of The Capitol would have been used by Democrats as evidence of an attempted Trump coup d'etat. He knew it and they knew it.

She controls Capitol security and she was the one who needed to authorize the use of national guard troops at the Capitol and she denied the request. This is not made up, it is fact and has literally been known for years. Sorry your precious MSNBC and CNN hasn't mentioned it through all these years of "insurrection" lies.

Separation of powers. Same reason Bush had to wait for approval to send the guard after Katrina.
