I said it a few days ago and I still believe it.

Miles told certain coaches to start looking. Miles didn't want to hurt any of his coaches so he's remained quiet while they attempt to get other jobs. Mallory looks to be gone. I expect Peveto to be named NW St HC by the end of the week. Lane will move on as well.
Once these guys accept their new jobs, Miles will come out publicly with the hire of our new coaches to replace these guys. I think he'll even say something to the effect that they wanted to stay on thru the bowl, but he encouraged them to go ahead and get a headstart.

This is simply my opinion that I formed from various reports by people who seem to be in the know.

This can't be true. I read on the rant that Miles was doing nothing and that Malveto would be back!

Hmm, I would expect him to play it the opposite: actually "encourage" them to go now and get a headstart, but publicly say he asked/invited them to stay and finish out the season, but that they decided to put their new teams first and get started as soon as possible. That way he gets what he wants (them gone) and they get what they want (the public appearance that they were valued and will be missed). That would be the most gracious thing for Miles to do, and he has seemed to be extra gracious to his staff when it comes to dealing with the public/media.

That may well be true. But there are at least some people who have commented on the fact that Miles didn't make the move, Mallory did, that are not actually saying what you suggest. They are rather pointing out the public appearance that Miles' tactic has created, where it can appear that Mallory left of his own accord because Miles never came out and fired him. It is semantics and facade, but such is the way of professional courtesy. And at least some of the people commenting on who made the move have been referring to that, not who ultimately initiated the decision to part ways.

Who did he blame it on last season? Oh, wait. There was no shitty coaching.

Really?? You wouldn't be saying that if all the lucky plays would have gone the other way. Also, the coaching in the Arky game last year wasn't shitty? Or the Kentucky game?? What was it in that game, C. Scott had like 100 yds. rushing in the first half and you don't see him again until you call his number to get us the most important first down of the game?? Yeah, that was GREAT COACHING....
