Well in this instance, the deceased was not convicted. I don't think he had even reached arraignment yet.

Happy Gary Plauché Day!
40 years ago Gary saved the LA tax payers a lot of money and defended Jody.
Are we convinced this was a psychologically healthy action for Mr. Plauche to have taken? I certainly understand the urge in the moment - I'm less certain what it actually feels like, years on, to have done such a thing. I have no knowledge of Mr. Plauche's internal life in the decades following the act.

Everyone here always chirps about "law and order". This was an illegal act that actually endangered bystanders as well, yet it's being celebrated 40 years on.

I totally understand (and felt it strongly myself at the time when I saw it happen live) the id's response to this. But that's why we have a legal system. So that the id doesn't prevail. I personally am not in favor of ordinary citizens committing murder in public.

And there was a 100% chance the pedophile was going to be convicted in a Louisiana court.

God bless Jody and his Dad and frick the karate perv.

Not at all! Go check out Xwitter!

There are a lot things worse than growing up with a father who loved me!

I will say this...I do think my cat loves me more.
I read where the one police officer (dark-haired guy) had said he would have shot your father if the officer restraining him hadn't been in the way.

Why was he so angry over this pedophile? Was it ego that you father got him on his watch?

What was his deal?

There was zero doubt of guilt, frick that piece of shite, he got exactly what he deserved. Like someone else said, justice was served. Gary Plauche is a hero. He didn't just serve justice he might have actually prevented some shite from happening in the future too, like it might have made a weirdo freak or two like the perp was think twice before acting.

He had Jeff’s blood splatter on him and he did not know my dad...you would be pissed if someone got shot walking right next to you. I don't blame him. He died a few months ago

I hope I'm not stepping out of bounds by saying this, but it's so fantastic to see that you are doing good. You seem like an awesome guy that overcame evil and didnt let it beat them. All the respect to you and to your father.

I don’t want to derail Jody’s thread. But check out Big Douches response in this thread

He’s a horrible person.

There are times when a real man knows how to handle business. Our world will be better when we have more men with the conviction to protect their family. We need less pervs walking the streets and more feeding the worms.

The St. Patrick’s Day parade today should have been dedicated to Gary Plauché. Jody as Grand Marshall.
