Did Shipley on Nicholson even last a year? Mr Ronnie's on Lee didn't last too long either. When will developers realize that college kids don't buy donuts? Maybe they just like throwing away money.

fried biscuits???
donuts are either yeast raised or cake donuts.
not all cake donuts are bad. a good old fashioned is delicious.
yeast raised are my favorite (chocolate iced with no glaze) but there is definitely a place for cake style donuts.

They put a Dunkin in Chalmette a few years ago. Built a brand new building for it.
It was absolutely abysmal. The coffee was never right, the donuts were stale or not cooked properly, and they were constantly out of half or more of their menu.
We later found out the actually are not making the donuts on site, but making them somewhere else and shipping them in frozen, to be re-heated in the store.
The employees were always understaffed and the few that actually worked there were awful.
It closed less than a year after it opened.
A few months later, A French Press Coffee House moved in, and they have been absolutely killing it for years.
I guess people in other parts of the country accept terrible food and coffee, and worse service.

Krispy Krewe is crap. What is wrong with you people?
Donuts should be handmade and fresh, preferably crafted by an Asian. KK donuts are made by a machine. DD donuts are the opposite of fresh.

I’ve never eaten a bad donut in my life.

I have been to multiple Dunkins in at least 5 different states usually because I'm riding with someone that is addicted to buying a cup of coffee in the morning. Every single one was an absolutely shite tier breakfast experience without exception.

From what I understand is Dunkin par bakes their donuts in a large non descript plant near ATL and ships them out to be finished in store. They are not good. KK and most local
Asian stores has them beat by a mile. Also shout out to Golden Donuts of Columbus GA

The Indian people have Dunkin running on top in Atlanta. Every time I would come back to a Louisiana location, it was awful. Coffee was always good, it’s very third world here.

Garbage. Meche's could come in and put Shipley and DD out of business.

No offense to you personally, but Dunkin is every bit as caustic to the culinary world as New Englanders are to the human race.
