Tyson has recently announced the closure of its facility in Perry, Iowa, which will result in the termination of employment for around 1200 American workers.

The company stated that while this plant closure was sad, they are looking to hire “asylum seekers" in other states like their New York location.

So, out with American workers and in with illegals?

"Tyson is joining the nonprofit Tent Partnership for Refugees, which was founded by Chobani yogurt magnate Hamdi Ulukaya, with a plan to hire some of the 181,400 migrants that have come through New York City..." Simone Foxman & Ella Ceron

The government claims they are bringing manufacturing back to the US but hiring illegals.

Keep production costs low but charge the same amount or more.

As long as manufacturers aren’t punished for this, it will continue

It doesn't feel like all that long ago when meat processing plants were having random shutdowns because they'd been raided for hiring illegals.
Now they're openly going through "non profits" to recruit (purchase?) them.
And it's all Aokay.

What happened to ICE? Should we just defund them and save the money?

Do your job!

They are seeking "asylum" for this? Sounds like one big job fair.

The uniparty thinks this is great because these jobs need to be filled and donor corporations love the low wages and non-complaining laborers. But once these people reproduce and their children are US Citizens they aren't going to be working in any chicken plant. They're going to want to take your kid's spot in college and the application essay will be about their parents coming here with nothing and working in a chicken plant.

This isn't new. I remember a democrat telling me Tyson hires undocumented immigrants in the early 2000s, like 2001. His stance was that big corporations don't want to pay social security benefits, and he was probably right on that issue. That's why the unifarty kicks the can down the road.

I wonder if Tyson has contracts with the federal government, same for Chobani. If so, I would terminate them.
Trump should come out immediately and state the same.

Well, it's time to go Bud Light mode on Tyson Foods. Let's show 'em how profitable it can be when you make stupid moves as a company!

Was hiring illegals before this grand announcement...

What I want to know, is how this is even considered to be legal?

There are abundant Videos on YouTube which describe the extreme poverty and hardship of these immigrants lives in their former homeland. And most every American entrepreneur (aka small business owners) knows that finding enthusiastic and productive people to work is THE biggest problem there is. Americans are spoiled, psychologically disillusioned and indoctrinated with Marxist egalitarian ideology. And given a free trade and fair competition re bottom line productivity, don’t stand a snowball’s chance in hell against hungry and desperate immigrants. This ship has sailed.
