Lot of money for a guy who is on the back side of his prime, but he should have a few years left given his style of play (more of a possession receiver who doesn’t rely on speed).

He wasn't getting a big return. He's good but he's over 30 and always hurt.

Whoever the QB for the Bears is, they will have some weapons. Love the pickup for them

Yeah they do, they could afford to take him while the Chargers couldn’t afford to keep him.

Probably means Nabers goes to the Chargers at 5

He’s played in 13 or more games 6 of the last 7 years

Bears still have $50M in cap space and two top 10 picks. If Caleb Williams pans out, they're making the playoffs.

Think there’s just 1 year left on his contract, and it’s a fair amount of Cap space.

Definitely signals WR to the Chargers

The Chargers current WR room is dire, so you would think. I could see Harbaugh and Greg Roman going Joe Alt though.

Quentin Johnston was by far the least impressive first round WR last year, didn’t do shite even when everyone else was hurt for the Chargers.

In a 16 then 17 game season. He’s played in 23 of his teams last 34 regular season games and turns 32 in 6 weeks.

He played every game once in the last 4 seasons and he's missed 11 games the last two. Definitely the picture of health.
Eta: That was after they moved to 17 games so he's missed one every year.

Boy what did Keenan do to deserve getting sent from sunny LA to a cold division that's going to be dominated by the Lions!

The line is actually solid. Two solid young tackles, and Tevin Jenkins could be all pro if he could stay healthy. Only weak spot was center and they scooped up two guys this FA.

He’s always hurt and over the hill.

On the flip side, Bears should trade back and get MHJ and Bowers to add. Suffer a year with Fields then draft QB next year

Even if it’s only 1 year, it’s a fantastic way to help get a rookie QB adjusted to the NFL. Something the Bears have never been good at doing. Allen at 1 year helping a rookie QB bloom > a 4th round pick.
