Bengals should make a move up to get one of the WR. They could package their 18th pick and Tee Higgins to move up to 8-9 and take Malik or Odunze. Gives them another good WR on a rookie deal for a few years.
It's a deep WR draft. Can get an impact guy at 18 or Bowers may still be there; however, I've seen a lot of mocks having them take the best tackle available with their first pick. Maybe a first-round WR isn't even a priority for them.

O-Line will provide discounts?...

Mixon sucked

Mixon was top 10 in the league in rushing yards and tds
Not saying he’s irreplaceable but he’s definitely not a scrub

Chase will command $35-40M AAV shortly.
I love Chase but this will prove to be a bad decision too.

Deep WR class, including a very available Brian Thomas.

Mixon was pretty solid the last few years…. I think losing Petrine was a bad move last year.

he actually also dropped a wide open TD this year against the Texans that would have put the bengals in the playoffs

In the current NFL if you're lucky to have an elite receiver you pay them. You can always fill the other WR slots with mid round picks or journeyman type players. The rules favor receivers and the offenses that colleges run are so receiver heavy means that there is a massive pool of guys that can be No. 2 and 3 type guys and be effective since the rules are so slanted.
28 players were over 1,000 yards receiving this year and almost 60 players between 500-999. Finding good production isn't hard, but proven, true top 10 playmakers at the position are hard to come by.
Offensively, you pay QBs, WR 1, maybe a TE, one side of the OL and fill in the rest with young or journeyman players.

Higgins was always gonna be on the chopping block. The only conceivable way to have a top 5 qb, top 5 WR, and a second #1 WR is if most or all of them are under their rookie contract. They just need to hit on a WR in the draft.
Paying a RB is absolutely pointless

Teams paying QBs mega contracts just to lose the supporting cast around him. It'd be funny if it weren't so sad.

Yup the only way you give QBs those huge deals is if they can elevate WRs like Mahomes does and like Rodgers and Manning did in the past.
If you don’t have that kind of guy - and honestly there are only two guys I would firmly say are that level currently in the NFL in Mahomes and Allen - then I’m paying my QB around $30-40 million a year (which is 12-16% of the cap in a given year) and loading up around them.
Why do people think Brady’s teams won all of those SBs? He was taking contracts that would usually be given to the 5th-15th best QB in the league and the Patriots were loading up their roster.
There is nothing you can buy earning $50 million a year that you can’t also buy from $40 million a year. Hell if you’re a winner you can more than make it up in endorsements/other business ventures.
