Pool halls where I could get high, have fun and rob people legally. I enjoyed the same in my 40s and early 50s.

Small city of Clanton. Every Friday and Saturday night tons of teenagers would ride the strip through main street. Bumper to bumper. Crowds all in the parking lots. Parked along the streets. Low riders. Jacked up 4x4s. Big bass systems. Not a cell phone anywhere. Kids from cities all around would come to ride through and hangout. It was awesome. Kids today don’t have a clue about any of it. Really sad

Did you grow up in American Graffitti?

We found a cool old abandoned, but in good shape, house out in the woods by the river. Had some epic times there.

Eventually friends told other friends and on and some dumbasses caught it in fire or something and fricked it all up. Reason #12/276 that I hate most people.

Early teen- Hammond Square Mall & Monopoly’s

Same here. I owned the arm wrestling table. Mall on Friday and monopolys Saturday night. Stole my mom’s car one night to go to monopoly’s and ended up behind hhs at the maze in a ditch. It’s a miracle I lived through my teens.

Also spent a lot of time in the woods behind our house. Camping, rough housing, shooting shite, etc.

Can confirm it was like this in Clanton back in the day & I may have made a trip or 2 to the bar that I think was named Silver Steer or something like that would let us in & drink underage

It was also like this on Atlanta hwy in Montgomery but was just a little more spread out & we spent most of it hanging out behind the fountain that routinely got soaped

Also spent time at Club DV8 Paradise Theater & Bama Lanes

Clanton and Montgomery were a couple places that was inviting for all folks to show up and hang back in the day

New Orleans lakefront and the pizza parlor that was near the end of Elysian Fields. I think it might have been called Luigi's?

Yes, Luigi’s. The Radiators cut their teeth playing there.
